“Bump In The Night has a great formula and I ♥ that it’s quick-drying!”

The Look

China Glaze Bump In The Night Nail Lacquer (14ml / 0.50 fl oz) is a neutral, black crème texture polish. It has a medium gloss finish with a fine, gritty surface.

Comparison

nails inc. Noho Leather Effect is more matte; has a softer look; and it’s grittiness is denser, finer, more evenly distributed and smoother to touch.

Application & Consistency

The consistency is great and I had no issues during application.

Coverage

It’s opaque with 1 thin coat but the grittiness is quite sparse. If you prefer more grit, 2 thin coats work best for full coverage with even distribution of grittiness compared to 1 medium coat.

Drying Time

It dries quicker compared to the average polish. It was dry to touch by 2 minutes and was completely dry by 10 minutes.

Longevity & Removal

It wears well for almost a week with tip wear at the free edge and no chipping. Removal is rather easy with gentle nail polish remover.

FAQ

Q: Does the grit make the edges of the nails scratchy?
A: The grit along the free edges is a little scratchy but it wears off after a few hours.
